Synergistic Surface - Assignment 01
We started putting together the prototype. The first part, assembly, was pretty fast. Then our first problem was with the length of our flexinol wire. We cut it too short and then had to shorten also the length of the piano wire to have everything in proportion. I don´t know if that affected the second problem..... When we assembled the prototype in it´s first stage, without the sensor, we noticed the movement of out wire was barely noticeable. But nonetheless.... it moved.

So we continued on working with the sensor.
We tried several codes. First the one on the assignment page. Nothing happened with the sensor, so we started to try and detect the problem. Then we looked for different codes to try on, the ones on the blog. The first one eliminated the warm up time of the sensor. Nothing happened. The second one said to be sure to write on the code the same numbers the cables were connected to on the board, P2.....P2. We tried this several times, and got a cup to limit the range of the sensor. Finally, we thought we saw movement, but it was so minimal from the beginning that we´re not sure. Maybe it´s the code, maybe it´s the length of the Flexinol, we don´t know yet. But we will keep trying....
