Group SEAGY Kinetic Wall Material Studies
Below are links to youtube videos of our recent tests as to not slow down the blog any. Tests were down with a metal bow piece and the thickest flexinol wire (.020) and 2 9volt batteries. Relay usage from another grouped provided quicker reflexes to our wire. A test was also done with basswood and .012 flexinol also providing sufficient power.

Silicone test_
Below are photos of our previous test of imbedding flexinol into silicone. We had seen other tests similar but with different configurations. Our test did not utilize enough of a spring or tensioning member to keep the flexinol extended. There is also a photo of what we wanted to happen...but did not.
